World War Chaos 2.5- Enter Beerus- Chapter 14

Fate of the World

Huge pair of gauntlets crushed Beerus to the ground.  Everyone got back up from the impact and they were shocked of what happened.  Whis faces down with a shook.  Then the gauntlets shrunk to its normal size and returned back to its user.  The user of the gauntlets was Garnet.

Garnet: There!  That should take care of him.  I will not tolerate anymore destruction from other worldly fiends.

She sees Beerus laying on the sand.  His face is deep within the sand.

Connie: *shocked* Garnet!?
Steven: *shocked* Why did you do that!?
Garnet: Why?  He is a destroyer of the world!  Did he hurt you, Steven?
Steven: *shocked* He was... but...
Shadow: *anger* He was going to spare us!  Until you smashed him!

Garnet became shocked and confused.  She then see Beerus rising from the ground slowly with his face faced down with anger.

Whis: Oh dear...

Everyone faced at Whis.

Whis: You shouldn't have done that.  Especially when he lets his guard down for a snack.  I suggest you all find some cover.
Eggman: This... is not good.

Everyone and Garnet turns back to Beerus.  They still see anger on his face.  They're becoming unease with the situation.

Dawn: Uh oh!
Greg: *unease* He looks pretty mad.
Pearl: Uh?  Beerus?  That... that was an honest mistake.  Remember the fry bits?
Beerus: .............
Garnet: *sweat* Beerus... I....

Suddenly, Beerus performs the "God of Destruction's Wrath" attack (from DB Xenoverse and Battle of Gods) 

Beerus: *unleashing power* FFWWWAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!

The energy projectiles are beaming in every direction.  The members are blasted by the bullets and Beach City is being devastated.  The shots cover the entire land with smoke.  The attack stopped and the smoke begins to fade.  After a minute, the dust fades away, and from the dust.... everything was destroyed.  The city and the Gem temple are gone.  Nothing but rubble and sand everywhere.  The members are buried under the sand.  Some of them got out from the soil and got up with pain in their bodies.  Sonic got up as well.  He starts to look for Beerus.

Sonic: *in pain* Ugh... where is he?

Then, Whis appeared to him and pointed up in the sky.

Whis: He's right outside of the atmosphere.
Sonic: Huh?

Sonic looked up at the sky.  Then, a scene moves to outer space.  The Earth where the Crystal Gems lives is seen right next to it.  In front of the view, Beerus floats above it.  He then summons a gigantic, ferocious ball of fire from his hands.  It is almost the same size of the Earth.

Beerus: Now it's my turn!

Sonic and his friends are incredibly petrified and shocked at the monstrous ball of fire.

Ash: (gasped)
Pikachu: *shocked* Pika!
Dawn: AAAGGHH!!
Cynthia: *shocked* It... can't... be....
Pearl: (gasped) NOOOO!!
Greg: *shocked* What the!?  Now there's two suns!?
Eggman: *scared* It's an attack from Beerus!  We're all going to die!

Shadow also sees the ball.  He is shocked and angry.

Amethyst: *panicking* We're dead!  We are so dead!
Cynder: Oh no.  This is it.
Lars: (curling up and lying down) I'm gonna die.  I'm gonna die.  I'm gonna die.
Steve: What are we going to do now!?

Lars gets back up quickly and faces at Garnet.

Lars: Why did you have to smash him!?
Garnet: ..........

Steven and Connie are ducking and covering their heads in fear.

Steven: *scared* No!  No!  No!  This is it!
Connie: (sniffles)

Pearl goes in between them and protects them for the incoming doom.  Everyone is frightened.  This is the end to them, but, Sonic looks up with no fear.  He has one more idea to save the planet.

Sonic: Steve... if this last attempt fails, transport everyone out of here with your time and space wool, okay?
Steve: Uh?  Okay?  But what attempt are you talking about?

Sonic gets near to Shadow.

Sonic: Lets do this, Shadow!  We have to try to stop that blast!
Shadow: I got it!

Sonic and Shadow relaxed themselves and began focusing in their minds.  They closed their eyes and the seven Chaos Emeralds came out of them.  The emeralds start to spin around them.

The Final Attempt

Everyone faced at the two hedgehogs.  The emeralds spun faster and faster until they are shrouded in light.  Out of the light, Sonic and Shadow transformed into their super state.  The gang are incredibly surprised and risen to their hopes.  Super Sonic and Super Shadow are their last hope to hault Beerus's rage.




Super Sonic: Here we go!

The two hedgehogs flew up to the sky and zoomed all away to space.

Ash: Good luck, guys.

At the outer space, the whole scene is red and orange due to the brightness by the giant sphere of destruction.  Beerus's energy is charged up.  Super Sonic and Super Shadow are almost there, away from the atmosphere.

Beerus: *anger* NOBODY BACKSTABS A GOD!!!  BEFORE CREATION COMES DESTRUCTION!!!  (tosses the sphere) HYAAGGHH!!!

The huge ball of fire is heading straight to Earth, but suddenly, Sonic and Shadow caught the giant ball together.  The two held out their hands to slow down the ball and use all their strength to push it back.  Beerus notices the problem with his attack and spots another super form figure, which is Super Sonic.  He is astonished.

Beerus: *shocked* There's two!?

Sonic and Shadow are being struggled by the sphere.  The ball is too much for them to hold on.  The giant flaming ball is pushing them slowly to the atmosphere.  All of their friends are watching them trying saving the planet.  Pearl has her hands in a prayer position and hopes that her planet is saved.  Greg and Lars are biting their finger nails quickly like a shredder.  Back in space, Beerus watches the two struggling with his blast attack.  He then recognizes the event.

Beerus: This is just like how that saiyan tried to stop my blast before.  Are they?  Are those guys the ones?

Back in Beach City...

Steven: Come on, you can do it!
Dawn: I know you can!
Piplup: Pip!  Piplup!
Benson: Do it or you're fired!
Sparx: Really, man?  Oh!  Now I get it!

Back in space... Super Sonic and Super Shadow are still struggling to prevent the blast from colliding to Earth.  The blast is almost about to enter the atmosphere.

Beerus: You two are no saiyan gods!  How are you going to stop this!?
Super Shadow: *struggling* Gh... Suppose like this!

Shadow got out the blast struggle.  He then starts to remove his rings from his wrists.  After that he powers up.  Finally, he touches the ball and performs his signature ability.

Super Shadow: CHAOS!  CONTROOOOLLL!!!

Music Stops.

The blast attack is shrouded by light and electric surges.  Suddenly, a flash covered the whole scene white.  After a few seconds, the flash faded and the blast was gone.  The Earth is completely unharmed by Beerus's attack.  The only ones that are in space are Beerus and Super Sonic.

Battle over

Back in Beach City... Shadow is plummeting to the ground.  He is worn out by the amount of energy he used and he was reverted back to normal.  His ring energy is depleted.  Brock sees him falling.

Brock: (gasped) It's Shadow!  He's falling!
Connie: Someone catch him before it's too late!
Spyro: I'll save him!

Suddenly, Whis catches him and brings him down safely to his members. 

Spyro: Uh?  Never mind.

Whis places Shadow on the floor.  Shadow is exhausted.

Cynthia: (gasped)
Pearl: Not again!  Can you please stop risking your life for once?
Greg: (pats Shadow once) Hey, are you alright?
Shadow: Yeah... I'm fine, Greg.

Shadow gets up slowly from his exhaustion.

Shadow: But Sonic...
Whis: He's still up there with Beerus.
Connie: Do you think Sonic can stop him all by himself?
Whis: Don't you worry about him.  Beerus has him right where he wants him.
Cynthia: What do you mean?
Whis: You'll see...

Everyone looks up at the sky to see Sonic and Beerus.

Back in space...



Beerus: What was that?  Where is Shadow?
Super Sonic: Shadow used Chaos Control with full strength, sending your blast away from this world.  We kinda had this experience before.

Beerus stares at Sonic with a serious look.

Beerus: I thought he had the ability to go Super Saiyan, but now there's another.  And you... you remind me of my second strongest opponent.
Super Sonic: Really?  Who was that?
Beerus: I don't remember his name right now, but he was the first Saiyan who fought me in his Super Saiyan God form.  Hmhm, even I threatened him that I would destroy his world.  You guys aren't the only ones you know.  I destroyed countless of worlds before you and your friends even existed.
Super Sonic: That's very fascinating, but I will not let you destroy the Gem's world.
Beerus: I'm not going to destroy their world... because they passed the test.
Super Sonic: *shocked* A test!  What test?

Back in Beach City...

Brock: Is anything happening up there?  I can't see them.
Sparx: Well how can we tell?  They're in outer space.

The team continues to watch at the sky.

Back in space...

Super Sonic: Well?
Beerus: That naive Pearl... she was the one who told me what she truly feels about being in the United World.  Her thought is what gave you all mercy.
Super Sonic: Okay?  But explain the massacre.  What was that all about?

Beerus places his hands behind his back.

Beerus: I faced your team members and tried to destroy your worlds as if I'm your ultimate enemy.  I was testing you by pretending to be the team's undefeated foe.  Even though I'm the God of Destruction, I still have a compassionate side.
Super Sonic: I don't think so.  Your attacks nearly destroyed us all.  How is this a test?  More importantly, what's the point of this test?

Back in Beach City...

Shadow: What are they doing up there?
Pearl: I have no idea.

Back in space...

Beerus: To start off, are you familiar with the stranger who wears the white cloak?
Super Sonic: White figure?  What about it?  You know about the figure?
Beerus: More than you imagine.  You see, after the epic fight you had with Nazo, Whis and I followed the source of the Primal Earth's power.  We arrived on the planet to see that everything was back to normal.  Then we met with the white figure, also known as the Guardian of the Universes.  And to give you a hint to the identity, it is a female.

Sonic is surprised.

Super Sonic: So, she's the guardian of all the universes?  That's new.
Beerus: We had a conversation about you guys and I was not pleased about it.  And you guys already know why, right?

Sonic nods twice.

Beerus: Then she told me that what you guys were doing was acceptable because she believes that new lives deserve to meet new lives.  Friendship from all over the 12 universes and beyond is what gives each other strength and courage.  But I disagreed with her.  What I believe is that meeting new lives would just cause chaos in the universal balance.  A chaos that could influence and expand forever.  Therefore, we made a bet.  If I don't encounter anyone in your group that supports the guardian's belief, I have the permission to destroy all your homeworlds.  Thus, I came to you guys and started to behave like an unstoppable jerk.  Then, I see that I was wrong partially.
Super Sonic: Oh, why partially?

Beerus adjusted his neck to feel a crack.

Beerus: Because I had my point proven already.  Then when Pearl stood up, I see now that the guardian was right as well.  That makes us even.  And not to mention, you, Shadow, and the Poke idiots are also her evidence.  She told me all about your past quests together in the Pokemon Universe.  Especially the first mission to stop the Galactic leader's birth of a new universe.  I even heard that Shadow and the wanna be Super Saiyan 3 were special buddies before they met Pearl.
Super Sonic: Wait, are you talking about Cynthia?
Beerus: The woman with the freakishly long, yellow hair.
Super Sonic: That's her.

Beerus crosses his arms to think about the subject.

Beerus: Cynthia?  Isn't she a defective Super Saiyan 3?
Super Sonic: Just... human... Now about this bet of yours.  Does this mean that you won't destroy us?

Beerus begins to scratch his head.

Beerus: *scratching* Hmm, I don't know.  That tall Gem freak got me in a bad mood.  *stops scratching*  But... I'll probably won't... only if you do something for me.
Super Sonic: Which is?
Beerus: .............. Show me the form that you used to end Nazo.
